Q: Do you use web templates?
A: All of the sites we have developed for individuals or companies are unique and custom fit to the client. One size does not fit all. However, we can help you if you have found a template that you need customized.
Q: I have a custom request for services, can you build a solution just for my company?
A: Yes. Simply give us a call or request an estimate online for the work needed.
Q: Why should I choose you over other web designers?
A: Most of our competitors websites lack flexibility, usually offer little to no customizations, or are templates that are used over and over so you would share your sites designs with hundreds to thousands of other sites. Q: Why don't you have any Flash websites in your portfolio?
A: The major reason relates to search engines. Search engines cannot, as of the present time, index the elements of a Flash-based website. Since search engines are responsible for approximately 85% of traffic to a website, this becomes a severe handicap for marketing reasons. Using flash can also affect your websites loading time. Also, many internet users do not have flash installed on their computers which will render you flash effects unless as they won't be able to see them.
Q: What forms of Payment do you accept?
A: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, Bank Draft and Paypal. A 3% service fee will be added for payments made through Paypal.
Q: When and how do I pay for my site?
A: A design deposit of $100.00 or 25% which ever is greater is due upfront and the remaining balance is due once you have approved the design to be used in the production of your website.
Q: How long will it take you to design my website?
A: Typically it takes 7 to 14 business days for us to complete a website. However, this time can vary depending on, current work load, special design customizations you’ve requested, and the number of pages their are on your website.
Q: Is it possible to arrange installment plans to pay for part of your services?
A: We have found that installment agreements and deferred payment schedules are very difficult and time consuming to administer. We now agree to them only on the rarest occasions and do so very cautiously. If you have a special circumstance and an invoice over $1000 you can ask the designer for this consideration. Payment arrangements cannot be made for search engine optimization services.
Q: How will I know if I will like the design
A: We will email you a draft (preview) of the web site for your approval prior to completing your site to ensure you are satisfied with the site. If you are not satisfied with the draft created we will try and accommodate any changes you have. However, the number of layout revisions will be limited to the package(s) selected without incurring an additional charge.
Q: What if I need to make a change in the future
A: If you need ongoing maintenance you can sign-up for a website maintenance plan to cover or reduce the costs associated with your websites maintenance. You can also decide to pay for website maintenance on a pay as you go basis. » View website maintenance section.
Q: What if I want to add to my website or make major changes in the future?
A: All websites are designed to be fully scalable such that future additions or major upgrades can be added. This enables you to expand your website overtime.
Q: Who provides the content for the website?
A: This is completely up to you. If you have the copy and other information ready for your website we will develop your website using your provided materials. If you’re unsure of what content to use we have some pre=written content that you’re welcome to use. If you need help in creating any textual content, photographs, logos or other graphic images we can provide these services for you at an additional charge.
Q: Do I need to sign up for a maintenance plan?
A: No, maintenance plans are not required. However, you have the option to sign up for a discounted maintenance option or a pay as you go option for as needed maintenance. » View Maintenance Options here.
Q: Will I be able to make changes myself?
A: Yes, you will. However, it is not recommended unless you have at least a moderate understanding of HTML & CSS. Though most clients find it more convenient to have us update their sites periodically.
Q: What if I only need to redesign my current website?
A: Redesigning websites is one of our specialties. We can take your existing website and upgrade your layout and content or transfer your existing content into a new layout.
Q: Will my website be unavailable for any period of time while my site is being redesigned or moving servers?
A: During a redesign, your site should never be down. A separate development site will be used for the new design to allow your existing site to function normally until the new site is completed. Once the new site is finished, the transition from your old site to the new one is seamless.
Q: What is web site hosting and how much does it cost?
A: Web hosting in its most basic terms is similar to rent one would pay for an office space. Your website files, graphics and applications will reside on a web hosting server which is physically connected to the Internet. Hosting fees are typically small depending on the resources required by your website. We can host your website for $9.99/mo. or $107.88 annually. Or you can choose your own web host.
Q: Can I use a different company to host my website?
A: Yes. If you already have a web host or are planning to use one of your choice; we can typically develop your website at your chosen web host. However, we do have preferred web hosting companies that we have tested for reliability and uptime. Please call for list.
Q: Do you offer web hosting?
A: Yes, we offer web hosting for $9.99/mo or 107.88 annually. Our servers are tested daily and very reliable. Becuase of this we can offer a 99.9% uptime guarantee
Q: Do you offer search engine optimization (SEO)?
A: Yes, every website includes basic search engine optimization (SEO). We also offer advance SEO options if you wish to drive more traffic to your website. » View advanced SEO options
